Hi!
I’m Courtney. I’m a freelance writer living in L.A. (my work has been featured in The Zoe Report, Who What Wear etc.) with my husband and toddler son.
My introduction to motherhood in May of 2023 was not smooth or effortless or calm and during those early days when I was questioning every decision I’d made leading up to becoming a mother, it was moms (moms I’d known forever, moms I hadn’t talked to in awhile, moms I’d just met, all kinds of moms!) who rallied around me and made me feel like, “Ok, yeah, I can do this, maybe!”
They did this by sharing their experiences with me, validating the feelings that I was ashamed and unsure of, sending texts just to check-in and making me laugh until I peed (an easy feat when you’re postpartum, but still). Just knowing that they were there and I was not completely insane in and of itself was comforting. With this letter, I’d like to return the favor.

Recommendations for kid and mom-friendly products that I actually use and like or want! 🐩
